[Thoughts on First Watch] From 3x10 - Revelations: Chapter Two

Published February 10, 2026

What the hell is this?

This is an overall dump of my thoughts during my first time viewing of From's third season's tenth episode, Revelations: Chapter Two.

And now for my notes.

Last episode until who knows when...

Oh, good on you, Ellis. I mean. The tiniest hint of a leap, there. But good job to anyone who bothers communicating anything at this point.

I love that Victor can just say "no" and nothing else when asked if he wants to do something. No feeling like he has to hedge or coddle or capitulate. Just "no."

Elgin, you know you're caught, right? The fuck is your plan? The fuck was your plan?

Oh, Christ, Elgin thinks Kimono Bitch is an angel "like in the Bible."

Oh, Victor, honey. What's wrong now? What do you "have to show" your dad that you think is going to make him hate you?

WHEN THESE GHOSTS START TALKING TO YOU, JUST TELL THEM TO SHUT THE FUCK UP AND GO AWAY. JUST BECAUSE THEY LOOK LIKE YOUR DEAD FRIEND INSTEAD OF KIMONO BITCH DOES NOT MEAN THEY'RE NOT NEFARIOUS.

And Father what's his fuck would've 100% tortured the shit out of Elgin if he thought there was a tiny chance of trying to save/free/protect the town. Shut the fuck up, ghost! Sanctimonious cockhole.

What the hell is Randall doing??? Oh my god, he tried to use a fucking defibrillator on his head????

Well, now, what the hell is that polaroid supposed to mean?

Oh, that's Miranda's grave. That's what he thinks his dad is going to hate him for? He thinks his dad is going to blame him for Miranda and Eloise's deaths? But Victor didn't actually find Eloise's body. Just pieces.

This is incredibly sweet and moving and all, but this feels very much like giving Victor hope and love and a sense of safety just so they can rip it away from him (and us) later.

The farway tree has something to do with music...? OK.

Kristi, Marielle, no offense, but I don't actually care about either of you very much.

Oh, damn. The picture was of the house Boyd and his wife bought, which was where they were heading when they wound up in town. Elgin's going to take it as "see? you can go home!" when clearly, no, it's a taunt! (And honestly? Unless they have their own photo of the place, then clearly it's not so much the town/monsters are listening—they're pulling shit from your heads!)

PUT THE COP IN THE FUCKING BOX. I'M SO SICK OF HER SHIT.

Jim, shut the fuck up. Good god, we don't have time for your braindead bullshit. Fuck off and die!

"What's the blast radius on an evil song?" I love you, Jade.

This annoying child is just coming up with his own lore like he thinks he's writing the show. Fuck off, little boy, nobody cares about you.

Yeah, Sara! I dunno what you're gonna do, but I trust you to get this shit done. They don't call you the scariest person in town for nothing! "Boyd doesn't understand how far he needs to go to make you tell him." Damn, girl.

Ugh, what the fuck. The trap door in the root cellar is rising of its own accord while Fatima delivers the baby with the help of KIMONO BITCH. ...who drops down into the lower chamber??? (It didn't really look like a baby, whatever it was...) And Boyd is going down there along to see what it is, great. Don't you remember what happened the last time you went somewhere alone after getting Sara's help??? Fuck knows what you're gonna bring into town this fucking time.

Anyway, the evil song summoned the ghost kids. I'm... not convinced I care about the ghost kids? It's a pretty song and all, though?

"Those things that come out at night, I saw what they are. They sacrificed their children because It promised them they could live forever." What's It???

Oh, ew, it's a full-grown fucking creature thing rapidly aging within its own caul. No, thank you. No, nope, I'm good. Totally fine over here, adios, bye.

"We tried to save them. Because one of them— We used to sing them lullabies."

"I know why I see those children. Why Jade can see them. It's why there's more than one bracelet. I kept making them. Somewhere deep down, I remember. It's because we've been here before. Me and Jade. The reason I felt what Miranda felt is because I was Miranda. And Jade... Jade was Christopher. We've come back over and over again because we failed the first time. Jade and I were here at the beginning. We tried to save those children and set them free. Because one of them was ours. She was our daughter."

Oh, yeah, sure, Jim's gonna take that really well. I'm so so so so so so goddamn sick of dealing with motherfucking Jim.

Julie? With different hair. Julie from the future! "This is when it happened." (Oh, yay, does he die?) And now there's some skinny guy in a pastel yellow suit???

"This didn't have to happen, you know. Knowledge comes with a cost." Okay, Lovecraft. "I did try to warn you. Your wife shouldn't have dug that hole, Jim."

Womp, womp, he's dead. And nothing of value was lost. (But why kill him? Why kill Jim for what Jade and Tabitha just remembered? To punish Tabitha? To scare her out of proceeding with whatever needs to be done?)

Also, clearly Yellow Suit is "It," right? How very Temu King in Yellow.
