This is an overall dump of my thoughts during my first time viewing of From's fifth episode, Silhouettes.
Bro, this is not the kind of "hypothetical scenario" you play along with. Didn't you go to medical school? This is testing-the-waters shit that audibly sounds like she's moving into "break from reality" territory. Like, "going to kill someone" territory. How come you can't hear that?

Now, there's a definite conservative undercurrent that I'm picking up at the moment. Fatima tells a story about how her father was killed in the Middle East for being a Christian, and then we immediately cut to the family going on about how Sara is great and she's so good for Ethan, as opposed to the violence they threatened Victor with... despite the fact that Sara (young girl) is the actual threat to Ethan and Victor was just implicitly falsely accused of lowkey being some kind of a child molester or something. It's giving R propaganda... (Christians are the real oppressed group! Men are the real victims! Women are the real threat!)

If it was the dad's fault that his wife and child died, how is it not the doctor's fault that Sara murdered her brother? The doctor failed to catch that Sara was essentially preemptively confessing, and she accidentally provided the fucking murder weapon!
And anyway, the jukebox coming on and "giving the sheriff a sign" right then... Yeah, I'm on board with the idea that the town is fucking with them.
